All the characters belong to ER and TPTB… except for the introduction of Dr. Helene Shaver - whose name is a direct shout out to Helen Shaver, the actress who played Dr. Vivian Bell, PhD in Desert Hearts - she inspired me for a decade…. Of course, since I get to play the director in my fantasy land - the role of Helene Shaver should be played by Tina Fey (since she’s the other object of my lust besides Elizabeth Mitchell - and since she already works for NBC - there would be no contract problems should we want her to stick around in the future…well, of course, there is that pesky problem in that she is The Head Writer for SNL as well as the Weekend Update Cast member… but who says she isn’t a miracle woman and can’t do bicoastal filming with location shots in Chicago. If ANYONE could do that - it would be Tina Fey!!!). It’s my dream, folks!
